A precise biological role
Tyrosinase supports the conversion of pigment precursors inside melanosomes. Copper is one of the nutrients that contributes to normal pigmentation under an authorised EU claim.

Knowing that a nutrient or cosmetic ingredient relates to this pathway does not demonstrate that it treats vitiligo or guarantees repigmentation.
