Why sun protection matters
White patches can redden or burn more quickly. Broad-spectrum sunscreen, protective clothing, shade and avoiding intense midday sun work together.
Apply generously and reapply after swimming, sweating, towelling and as directed on the product.

Camouflage and self-tanner can temporarily reduce colour differences. Choosing them, using them occasionally or not using them at all are equally valid choices.
